HDYO is delighted to have worked with various partners to fund individuals to attend HDYO’s International Young Adults Congress. If you are interested in sponsors or funding multiple applicants please reach out to marisa@hdyo.org.
HDYO International Young Adults Congress is a one-of-a-kind conference where young people impacted by HD from around the world are invited to come together to gain support, educate themselves (and each other), and feel empowered. Congress will be hosted in Barcelona, España from 12-14 March 2027. Each person needs to complete their own application, so please do not submit a group application for your entire family.
HDYO is committed to providing as many scholarships as possible based on available funding. In order to be considered, please accurately and honestly complete these questions.
Scholarship awards will begin in October and can continue as late as February as funding is received. If you have any questions, please email info@hdyo.org.
What can scholarships help cover?– Travel expenses (planes, trains, mileage post-event)
– Hotel Accommodations
– Event Registrations
What will scholarships not cover?– Visa fees or out of pocket costs for Visa applications
– Meals outside of what will be included during Congress
– Spending funds while traveling
– Funds to cover any missed salary due to attending the event
To be eligible to apply:
– you must be a young person impacted by HD, over the age of 18
– you must be available to attend part or all of the congress in 2027
The scholarship fund is reliant on donations, the more donations we have the more scholarship we can offer.
