Scholarship applications are now open!
HDYO are delighted to be working with various partners to fund individuals to attend HDYO’s International Young Adults Congress, being held on the 14-16th of March 2025in Prague, Czech Republic. Awardees will be selected based on need and maximizing the impact of available funds.Applications will begin to be reviewed in October 2024.
What can scholarships help cover?
– Travel expenses (planes, trains, mileage post-event)
– Hotel Accommodations
– Event Registrations
What will scholarships not cover?
– Visa fees or out of pocket costs for Visa applications
– Meals outside of what will be included during Congress
– Spending funds while traveling
– Funds to cover any missed salary due to attending the event
To be eligible to apply:
– you must be a young person impacted by HD, over the age of 18
– you must be available to attend part or all of the congress on the 14-16 March 2025
– if outside the Czech Republic, you must have travel documents which will allow you to travel to Prague
The scholarship fund is reliant on donations, the more donations we have the more scholarship we can offer.
